The standard-setting (get it?) size-inclusive clothing brand Universal Standard just announced that every single item of clothing they sell will now be available in sizes 00-40.
The brand launched with this vision in 2016 and we couldn’t be more proud to see it come to life. Thank you for creating clothes that fit all bodies, US. And we can’t wait to see what you do to bring the industry along with you.
I’ve personally had the privilege of wearing some of their pieces since their last size expansion (from 10-28 to 6-32 about one year ago). The fit of their garments is really unparalleled. My tops are always the right length (both in body and sleeve) and the US jeans I own are my go-to pair. And since I own just one pair of jeans (hello startup founder life!), I wear them almost every day.
Congratulations, US team. I’m so proud of you.

I just want to know why, when all my little friends were wearing their little Mary Quant dresses back in the 60’s, I had to shop at the women’s boutique where they carried sizes 12-16? And I knew I had to starve myself to stay under a size 16, or I’d be wearing clothes by Omar the Tentmaker (standard joke at my house).
